I got this winter dress as a gift from my friend, the material was very high quality but the design was a bit plain. I added these buttons in the center and on the sleeves, which makes this dress more Christmasy and dressy. Every time I wear it, I feel a lot of pride and joy. The process of trying different buttons was creative and fun. Sewing them on a straight line took planning, measuring, correcting mistakes, and it took me some time but was meditatively a small mental break from life and work. It’s amazing how a simple and easy modification of clothing can add so much more enjoyment and satisfaction. Be creative! That’s the joy of life.
