There is a one of kind Olympic hybrid medal fused from a silver and a bronze, by two Japanese pole-vaulters tied for second place in 1936. The two friends opted not to compete, but to fuse a “friendship medal” for each. Can we apply the Olympic spirit of striving for excellence, friendship and unity to solving global warming and pandemic crises, and to save our Planet, together? Technology has brought us closer, the world is too small for tribal thinking, and our time is too short!
