“You have to believe what you believe.” Jensen Huang’s extraordinary vision more than 3 decades ahead of its time, became the foundation for today’s AI advancement, and made Nvidia the most valued company in human history.

In his 30-minute talk on July 26, 2025 at Stanford University, Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia, a $4 trillion company, the most valued in the world, recalled his big bet at GPU and CUDA in the 1990’s. “If we don’t build it, they can’t come“.

But it is more than the products that Nvidia must build, but the entire market through establishing the developers’ ecosystem. What did they build back then that are still the pillars for AI today?
