Keep it to yourself and WORK on it quietly for at least 3 months before breathing a word of it – be it avoiding sugar, losing 5 pounds, reading a few books, or even writing a book…
Planning is essential, but like most companies who don’t announce their goals to all, until almost achieving success, it’s better to under-promise and over-deliver, to avoid premature over-exposure, psychological pressure, mental stress, and embarrassment of underachieving or non-performance. All these diminish your confidence and self esteem.
It’s also bad PR for your brand.
I have been working on my own New Years Resolutions for 5 days, and if I am still on it on April 1st, I will let you know what they are! Wishing you all a healthy, happy, and fruitful 2022!
